Western Gas Marketing Limited (WGML) coordinated the North American Information Technology strategy, architecture, applications development and support functions for the Western Gas Marketing Ltd, a subsidiary of TransCanada Pipelines.

TransCanada www.transcanada.com is a leader in the responsible development and reliable operation of North American energy infrastructure. TransCanada’s network of approximately 41,000 kilometers (25,600 miles) of pipeline transports the majority of Western Canada’s natural gas production to key Canadian and U.S. markets. A growing independent power producer, TransCanada owns, or has interests in, approximately 6,700 megawatts of power generation in Canada and the United States.

Coordinated the North American Information Technology strategy, architecture, applications development and support functions for the Western Gas Marketing Ltd. Led a thorough review of all systems and processes and prepared a strategic application and infrastructure plan. Initiated, planned and implemented a 3-year renewal program around the core marketing, nominations and billing applications. Developed and managed a team of 24 professionals.
